C2-Studios Inc. opened in 2003 as a boutique design firm providing design and branding solutions to businesses in the Houston area. Owner Cara Matocha developed a love for the visual arts at an early age. Her passion led her to attend Carnegie Mellon University where she obtained a Communication Design degree in 2001. Since graduation she worked in a variety of design-related positions, quickly realizing her calling as a business owner. Cara has collaborated with businesses and individuals throughout the United States. She continues to create fine art, with reproductions sold in a variety of large retail stores.
C2-Studios has the pleasure of teaming up with the communications team at River Oaks Baptist School to produce their
yearly publication Vine and Branch, the Report of Appreciation as well as other marketing materials. River Oaks Baptist School
offers a fantastic K-8th grade program!
In late 2019 we collaborated with BrightSpot Creative to design the very first Community Impact Report for the Houston Live Stock Show and Rodeo. This piece celebrated HLSR milestone of reaching $500 million in Giving to Texas Youth and Education since 1932! The publication's design features included metallic ink, half pages, and a financial pull-out, along with a beautiful leather-like cover stock.
It was truly a designer's dream project and we were so thankful for the opportunity.
C2 provides layout and design services to Lone Star Outdoor News, Texas' largest outdoors news publication.
This informative newspaper is produced twice a month. Colorful special inserts are also produced quite regularly.
